My name is Jim Priester and have been in the private sector since 1985. I obtained my degree at Case Western Reserve and was fortunate enough to take additional coursework at University Hospitals Cognitive Therapy and Sexual Therapy program which were both instructed by the nationally known, Jim Pretzer, Ph.D., Steven Levine, M.D., and Candice Risen, LISW. Additional training was taken at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland in addition to a Ph.D. in counseling at the Union Institute. Alsol trained inthe area of PTSD utilizing EMDR, which stands for "Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing", proving to be one of the three recommended approaches for the treatment of PTSD. Additional experience has included working in the area of forensics, interfacing with the court systems.
